.Lost Soul.

This piece is a few weeks old and am now getting around to uploading it. At first, I didn't want to because it seems 90% of the DP fans dislike Johnny 13. Whilst that's fine, I just didn't want to upload something that would annoy people. I changed my mind after reading a comment ~j00leh made in my journal, so here it is.

I was inspired, yet again, by a screencap (I know the head looks large and the hand small, especially the wrist, but that's the DP style for you). I drew this from memory and decided to change his expression and background. Here we have Johnny 13 (as a human), looking down at the ground, obviously depressed. The white glow around him signifies his spirit energy and the background is the Ghost Zone; of course, Johnny's too depressed to realize the portal behind him opened. Yay for complete and utter nonsense!

Anyway, the reason Johnny is depressed is because every girl he's asked out has turned him down (he's not met Kitty yet). He feels all alone and that is why his spirit energy surrounds him so. (It's trying to comfort him.) I'm making everything up as I go along, you must know that by now. Blah, blah, blah...

Took 4 hours to outline, 2-3 to color. This may look simple, but drawing it took me almost 3 hours alone. Bah.
